For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARAGE SALES. Shall include all general sales, open to the public, conducted from or on a residential premises in any residential area, for the purpose of selling or disposing of personal property, including, but not limited to, all sales called “garage,” “lawn,” “yard,” “attic,” “porch,” “room,” “backyard,” “patio,” “carport,” “flea market,” “rummage” or “estate” sale, not otherwise exempt in § 114.05.
