§ 93.050 PERMITTING TRASH, WEEDS, OR OTHER ACCUMULATIONS TO CREATE A NUISANCE.
   (A)   (1)   It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any lot, tract, or yard in the city, including the easements, sidewalks, or the spaces abutting thereon, to the center of the street or to the center of any alley, to become covered or overgrown with weeds or other noxious injurious growth or to allow trash to exist or accumulate thereon.
      (2)   Any lot, tract, or yard, including the easements, sidewalks, or spaces abutting thereon, which shall become covered with trash or overgrown with weeds or other accumulation that is noxious, detrimental to the general health, or offensive or likely to cause or spread disease, is hereby declared to be a public nuisance.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of each person owning or renting property within the city limits to cut down and remove, or cause to be cut down and removed, to the center of the street or alley, a public nuisance as defined in this section. Any person refusing or neglecting to do the same, with or without notice, shall be guilty of an offense punishable as provided in § 93.999.
