§ 71.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided, shall be subject to § 71.999.
   (B)   Any person found to be in violation of any of the terms and provisions of § 71.024(D) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine or punishment as provided by § 10.99.

   (C)   Any person convicted of violating § 71.029(A) or (B) shall be punished by a fine of $50 and shall pay all court costs thereof. This fine shall be suspended and the court costs limited to a maximum of $15 in the case of the first offense upon proof of purchase or acquisition by loan of a child passenger restraint system.

   (D)   Any person who violates the provisions of § 71.030(A) shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $100, excluding costs, fees and assessments.
