11-1-14: INSPECTION OF IMPROVEMENTS:
   A.   Appointment of Inspector: If, in the opinion of the enforcing officer, it is necessary to have the public improvement required herein under more or less continuous inspection and supervision and requiring services beyond the normal duties of Village employees, he may appoint a qualified person as an inspector.
   B.   Payment of Inspection Fees: It shall be the responsibility of the subdivider to pay the actual cost of said inspector's compensation including said inspector's direct salary and fringe benefits.
   C.   Method of Payment: In the event that an inspector is appointed, the enforcing officer shall require the subdivider, prior to starting any improvements requiring inspection, to pay to the Village Collector a sum which the enforcing officer estimates will cover the costs of said inspection. In the event the amount originally paid is not sufficient, the subdivider shall pay the additional amount required to finish the work; or if the amount originally paid is more than required, the surplus shall be returned to the subdivider without interest.
