There is hereby adopted by the village the life safety code, 2003 edition, (NFPA 101), as herein amended, prescribing regulations governing conditions arising from fire or explosion that are hazardous to life and property. One copy of the life safety code has been on file in the office of the village clerk for a period of at least thirty (30) days prior to the adoption of these provisions and now is and remains on file in the office of the village clerk, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. If the provisions of the life safety code, as adopted, conflict with or contravene any provision of chapter 1 of this title, the provisions of chapter 1 of this title shall control. (Ord.
