The following sections of the plumbing code are hereby amended, revised and changed as follows:
101.1 Title: Add: Village of Hinsdale.
109 Means Of Appeal: Delete.
305.6 and 305.6.1 Freezing: Amend this section to read as follows:
"Water service piping and sewers shall be installed below front penetration, but not less than 48 inches below grade for water piping and 60 inches below grade for sewers. Plumbing piping in exterior building walls shall be adequately protected against freezing by insulation, heat or both."
602.3 Individual Water Supply: Delete.
605.4 and table 605.4 Water Service Pipe: Delete. Refer to title 7, chapter 4, article G of the village code of Hinsdale.
Table 605.4 Water Distribution Pipe: Delete table 605.4 in its entirety. Add: "Type K or L copper only."
701.3 Separate Sewer Connection: Add:
"Every building shall be separately and independently connected with a public or private sewer when there is such in the street abutting the lot occupied by such building. The entire plumbing and drainage system of every building shall be entirely separate and independent from that of any other building, except where there are two buildings on one lot, one in the rear of the other, and where there is no sewer in the alley to which the rear building can be connected, then the sewer serving the front building may be extended to serve the rear building."
