9-3-2: AMENDMENTS, REVISIONS, AND CHANGES:
The following sections of the IRC are hereby amended, revised, and changed as follows:
   105.2 Work Exempt From Permit: Delete exceptions nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
   105.3.2 and 105.5 Time Limitations Of Applications: Change section as follows:
      "Building official is authorized to grant one extension of not more than 30 days."
   R-301.1(1) Add to table as follows:
      For roof/snow add: 25
      For wind speed add: 90
      For seismic add: 17%
      For weather add: severe
      For frost line add: 42"
      For termite add: moderate to heavy
      For decay add: slightly to moderate
      For winter design temperature add: 0 degrees

   R309.1 Add: "Must be one hour rated door with self closing device."
   R309.2 Separation required: Delete - 1/2 inch change to 5/8 inch both locations.

   R310.1 Add: "Where basements contain one or more sleeping rooms, emergency egress and rescue openings shall be required in each sleeping room and adjoining areas of basement."

   R310.4 Delete: "Permitted." Add: "Required."

   R1601.4 Add: Joist and wall spaces shall not be permitted. Must be a closed system.
   M1305.1.3.2 Add: "Heat producing appliances installed in attic spaces shall be enclosed in a drywalled enclosure and equipped with a 110v. interconnected smoke detector."
   A.G.101 Add: Appendix G, "Swimming Pools And Hot Tubs."
   A.J.101 Add: Appendix J, "Existing Buildings And Structures", with the exception of AJ501.7 and AJ601.4 as written. Habitable spaces created within existing basements shall be permitted to have ceiling heights of not less than 6 foot 4 inches.
