The director of public services or any other officer or employee designated by the village manager is hereby authorized to inspect and examine any tree in the village to determine whether or not it is infected by disease or infested as defined. Upon discovering that any such tree is so infected or infested, the owner or occupant of the premises shall be notified of this fact. (Ord. O2011-50, 11-15-2011)
