The commission shall have the following purposes and goals:
A. To recommend plans and actions to expand the village's tax base, to increase the village's sales tax revenues, and to encourage the establishment and maintenance of a wide variety of businesses within the village.
B. To recommend plans and actions to promote and maintain the charm and uniqueness of the village.
C. To recommend plans and actions to enhance the quality of life within the village.
D. To recommend long term strategic plans to maximize and maintain the village's economic development within the village's business community. (Ord. O2003-25, 5-6-2003)
