For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CASH. Coin, currency, checks, money orders and credit or debit card transactions.
CASHIER. Any employee who performs the function of receiving, transmitting, safeguarding and/or depositing cash for the Town of Hillsboro.
REFUND. A reimbursement to a customer or vendor for returned, cancelled or unsatisfactory goods or services after the original purchase transaction is completed.
