ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NUMBER: 2018 - 8

TOWN OF HILLSBORO, FOUNTAIN COUNTY, INDIANA

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO RE-CODIFICATION OF THE HILLSBORO TOWN CODE

   WHEREAS, the Town of Hillsboro previously re-codified and re-adopted its Code of Ordinances in unknown year ; and

   WHEREAS, additional Ordinances and changes in the Code of Ordinances have been done since unknown year ; and

   WHEREAS, the Town has determined that re-codification of its Town Code is in the best interests of the Town; and

   WHEREAS, I.C. § 36-1-5-6 authorizes a legislative body to restate or reenact its ordinances without meeting the legal conditions for the effectiveness of an original ordinance.

   IT IS HEREBY ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED by the Town Council of Hillsboro, Indiana as follows:

   The Hillsboro Town Code is re-codified and re-stated effective January 1, 2019 as set out in the attached "Hillsboro Town Code."

ALL OF WHICH IS PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 12 DAY OF November , 2018.
