It shall be the duty of the Town Police Department (and/or Town/County Animal Shelter) to enforce the provisions of this chapter and at its discretion to impound all animals not conforming to this chapter. Any dangerous, fierce or vicious animal found at large that cannot be safely taken up or impounded may be destroyed by any person authorized to impound the same as provided herein.
