(A) Stop signs shall be erected at the entrances to the intersections specified below:

(B) The employees of the town are hereby authorized and directed to post and maintain stop signs at the entrances specified above in accordance with the Indiana Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The acts of the employees of the town in previously erecting stop signs at such entrances to intersections are hereby ratified and confirmed in all respects.
(C) Any operator of a motor vehicle who fails to come to a full and complete stop at any of the entrances to intersections designated by this schedule or who disregards any of the stop signs erected and maintained pursuant to this schedule shall be fined up to $500 for each violation.
