§ 115.09 CONDITION OF TAXICABS.
   (A)   Every taxicab shall be kept in a safe and sanitary operating condition. For the purpose of determining the condition of any licensed taxicab, the owner shall furnish to the Mayor on request, the written findings of a competent garage mechanic.
   (B)   Every taxicab shall be brought to the Police Department at least twice during each license year, or more often if and when required by the Safety and Service Director or his or her designated representative, for inspection of the vehicle for sanitary conditions and safety of the vehicle.
   (C)   Whenever a taxicab is found not to be in a safe and sanitary operating condition, or whenever any of the requirements imposed by this chapter are not complied with, the Council, on such a finding, may suspend or revoke the license.
