No industry or person, whether or not the holder of a permit as provided in § 50.061 shall introduce into the city sewer system any industrial wastes or other effluent which exceed the permitted limits of any toxic or harmful substance as provided in § 50.056, or in any state or federal statute or regulation. Any person who ignores this prohibition after receiving written notice from the city Safety and Service Director to cease and desist from introducing into the city sewer system industrial wastes or other effluents which exceed this permitted limits shall be in violation of this section.
