1-2-4: SEVERABILITY CLAUSE:
   A.   If any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, are declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, other than the part declared to be invalid. Each section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, shall be deemed separate, and the invalidity of any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, shall not affect the validity of, or affect, impair or invalidate the remainder. In the event any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall for any reason be adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, or their application.
   B.   If any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, is capable of two (2) constructions, one of which would render any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, invalid as to such section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, and the other of which would make the agreement valid as to such section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, then the section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, shall have the meaning which renders any section or provision of this code, or any codes or portions of codes adopted herein by reference, valid.
