No water supplied by the waterworks system of the city shall be resold by any consumer. No water consumer may supply water to other families or allow them to take water, except for use on the premises and for the purpose specified in such consumer's approved application. After water is introduced into any building or upon any premises, no person shall make or employ any other person to make any tap or connection with or work upon the premises for alterations, repairs, extensions or attachments without a written permit therefor. Resale or unauthorized use of water shall be grounds for discontinuance of water service to the consumer or the premises, or both. (Ord. 2004-O-8, 1-20-2004)
