Any person violating the terms and conditions of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for a first violation within the past twelve (12) months, not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) nor more than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) for a second violation within the past twelve (12) months and not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) nor more than three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) for a third or subsequent violation within the past twelve (12) months, with each and every day that the violation is allowed to remain in effect being deemed a complete and separate offense. In addition, the appropriate authorities of the city may take such other action as they deem proper to enforce the terms and conditions of this chapter, including, without limitation, an action in equity to compel compliance with its terms. Any person violating the terms of this chapter shall be subject, in addition to the foregoing penalties, to the payment of court costs and reasonable attorney fees. (Ord. 12-O-31, 7-10-2012)
