4-1-1: DEFINITIONS:
The words and phrases used in this chapter shall be defined according to the Illinois liquor control act of 1934 1 , as amended. In addition thereto, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
BASSET PROGRAM:
A state certified beverage alcohol seller's and server's educational training program licensed by the state of Illinois department of human services, division of alcoholism and substance abuse (DASA), 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/3-12(a)(2), 5/3-12(a)(11) and 5/6-27 and regulated under the Illinois administrative code.
BREWER:
A person who is engaged in the manufacture of beer.
CITY:
The city of Highwood, Illinois.
CITY CLERK:
The city clerk of the city of Highwood, Illinois.
CITY COLLECTOR:
The city collector of the city of Highwood, Illinois.
CITY COUNCIL:
The city council of the city of Highwood, Illinois.
DISTILLER:
A person who distills, ferments, brews, makes, mixes, concocts, processes, blends, bottles, or fills an original package with any alcoholic liquor.
LICENSEE:
One who has obtained a license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER:
The mayor of the city of Highwood, Illinois.
MAYOR:
The mayor of the city of Highwood, Illinois.
PUBLIC WAY:
