151.03 STANDARD WORK WEEK.
   (a)    All rates in the compensation ordinance are based on a forty (40) hour weekly schedule, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
   (b)    The standard work week shall be forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period for full-time employees of the City.
   (c)    Those employees of the Fire Department who change regularly scheduled work hours from a standard Fire Department shift to a forty (40) hour week or vice versa, shall have their hourly rate and leave benefits modified accordingly.
   (d)    ll part-time employees who hold two or more separate and distinct part-time positions within the City of Highland Heights and are scheduled to work an average of forty (40) hours per week shall be entitled to all of the benefits provided to a full-time employee. Employees covered under this section shall not be entitled to acquire Civil Service protected status. (Ord. 33-2022. Passed 7-26-22.)
