143.08 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO CONDUCT BOXING MATCH OR EXHIBITION; BOND.
   (a)    Each person who holds a promoter's license issued under Section 143.06 who desires to conduct a boxing match or exhibition where one or more contestants are to be held shall obtain a permit from the Boxing Commission. Application for such a permit shall be made in writing and on forms prescribed by the Commission, shall be filed with the Commission and shall be accompanied by the permit fee prescribed in Section 143.13.
   (b)    The application for a permit issued under this section shall include the date and starting time of the match or exhibition, the address of the place where the match or exhibition is to be held, the name of the contestants and their seconds, the seating capacity of the building or hall where the exhibition is to be held, the admission charge or any other charges, the amount of compensation or the percentage of gate receipts to be paid to each contestant, the name and address of the applicant and the serial number of the applicant's promoter's license.
   (c)    The applicant shall deposit with the Commission a cash bond, certified check, bank draft or surety bond in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to guarantee the faithful performance of all conditions concomitant with the provisions pertaining to the issuance of such permit. The amount deposited shall be returned to the permit holder no later than seven days following the completion of the boxing match or exhibition for which it was issued, less any expenses incurred by the Commission or the City in securing compliance with the performance standards set forth in this chapter, including, but not limited to, the provisions of Section 143.22.
