SECTION 6.01.01 CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

To the extent provided by General Law, all elected officials, members of boards, commissions, and all employees shall not directly or indirectly be interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, work, or service with or for the Municipality, and the Council shall, by ordinance, establish rules and regulations regarding the prohibition of conflict of interest. This ordinance shall be in effect by July 1, 1971.
