SECTION 5.07 ABSENCE.

When the Mayor is inaccessible or unable, due to absence or mental or physical disability, to perform a duty of the Mayor then and there necessary, the President of Council may perform such duty as Acting Mayor. In such instance the President of Council shall not cease, when performing as Acting Mayor, to be the President of Council.
