Commencing upon the effective date of this section, and to the extent applicable to the City’s pre-existing CRA’s, the provisions of Ohio R.C. 3735.67, 3735.671, 3735.672, 3735.673 and 3735.68, all as currently in effect as of the effective date of this section, shall apply to the granting of real property tax exemptions by the City in connection with commercial and industrial properties located in the City’s Alpha, Avion, Bishop/Wilson and Delta Community Reinvestment Areas, as those CRAs have previously been respectively designated and established in the CRA ordinances; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to the above described Building No. III property, owned and being constructed by Marconi, and in addition shall not apply to the above described 670 Alpha Drive property owned by Cleveland Cotton Products, and such properties shall be exempted and “grandfathered” from the application of this section and from such new CRA statutory requirements, and any applications for CRA real property tax exemptions for buildings and other structures constructed and/or remodeled on such properties received after the effective date of this section shall be processed under the aforesaid pre-existing CRA ordinances and the CRA statutory laws applicable without application of this section.
