1329.03 LICENSE EXPIRATION, CHARGE FOR APPLICATION.
   Each applicant seeking a license for registration to conduct business in the Village in the specific trades, crafts or professions shall be required to pay to the Building Department a registration fee in an amount as specified in Section 105.08. Upon acceptance of the application and fee, and once said application is approved, a license, if issued, is valid only until and no later than midnight of December 31 of the year for which said application was made and said license was issued.
   “Contractors” includes but is not limited to the following: general contractors, lumbers, electricians, subcontractors, mechanical contractors including HVAC, roofers, tile setters, siding, sewer, concrete-asphalt, masons, base-water proofing, carpentry, (minor alterations, repairs and others), drywall, drop ceilings, painting, gutters, window replacements, and tool sheds that are wired for electrical.
   The license to be issued to such applicant or applicants shall expire on December 31 at midnight of each year for which the same shall be issued. A fee as provided in Chapter 105 shall be paid with each application and retained by the Village regardless of whether or not such application for a license shall be granted. Any contractor starting work without proper registration and/or permit; will be charged double fees for each.
