(a) Whoever violates Section 709.19 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars, ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
(b) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, except Section 709.19, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars, ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.
