All public fire hydrants shall be maintained by the Water Department and be kept accessible at all times. Members of the Police and Fire Protection Districts shall also have free access to such hydrants. No other person shall draw or attempt to draw any water from a fire hydrant unless the person has written permission of the Water Department and comply with any requirements for such use. The Water Department Head may assess an equitable charge for the consumption or use of water drawn from a fire hydrant. (Ord. 2020-624, 5-13-2020)
