In any event, it shall be unlawful under all circumstances, except as herein provided, to maintain and keep swine within the city for any purpose whatsoever. However, this prohibition shall not apply to swine lawfully delivered to a licensed livestock auction yard and that such animal is not kept within such livestock auction yard for a period in excess of forty eight (48) hours. "Swine" shall include exotic swine kept as pets, including so called "potbellied pigs" or "Vietnamese pigs". (Ord. 353, 12-14-1994)
