§ 71.24  VILLAGE PERMIT.
   No person shall operate a golf cart/UTV on a village street unless the golf cart has been issued a permit by the village.
   (A)   A person desiring a permit shall make application to the village on forms provided by the village. A person will provide a driver’s license and an insurance card to the village.
   (B)   The permit will be valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance. Prior to the issuance, a fee of $20 shall be paid to the village by the applicant.
   (C)   The applicant must present the vehicle to any Trustee of the Village Board or officers of the village for inspection to determine whether the vehicle may be operated on village streets. If the applicant and the vehicle are qualified, a permit will be issued.
   (D)   This permit sticker will be affixed on the rear of the vehicle and shall not be removed. Annual application, inspection, and fee of $20 is required. If a sticker is misplaced, there will be a fee of $8 for replacement permit sticker.
   (E)   The permit issued by the village is non-transferrable.
