The purpose of this title is to provide for the public health, safety and general welfare of the people of the city by establishing uniform procedures and standards for the partitioning and subdividing of land within the city. These regulations are necessary to:
B. Ensure that public facilities, including, but not limited to, sanitation systems, water supply systems, streets and fire protection are adequate to serve the subdivided or partitioned area; and
C. Protect and conserve land throughout the city by providing for its most beneficial use and enhancement of the quality of the environment. (Ord. 542, 8-11-2003)
