Supply valves, temperature and pressure relief valves, and check valves or vacuum breakers are hereby required, and shall comply with the Oregon State Plumbing Code.
A. All connections to the City water system must have workable supply valves, independent of the meter valve and all hot water heaters connected to the City water system must have supply valves.
B. All hot water tanks or heaters connected to the City water system must have temperature and pressure relief valves.
C. All hot water heaters or tanks connected to the City water system must be protected from backflow or back siphonage by a check valve or vacuum breaker in the supply line. (Ord. 378, 12-1-69)
