A. Within the City Limits: Water and sewer main extensions to areas within the City limits not presently served with water and sewer shall be installed under procedures to be established by resolution of the City Council. Subdividers for newly partitioned properties will assume all costs of main extensions subject to approval of the City Council.
B. Outside the City Limits:
1. Water mains outside the City limits shall be extended only at the expense of the customers served.
2. The City Council shall determine the size of the main extensions and all extensions shall be of a suitable material approved by the City Council.
3. Extensions outside the City limits shall be installed by the City or by contractors approved by the City.
4. The installation procedures and materials used shall be in accordance with the City and the State of Oregon standards.
5. Customers shall bear the cost of upkeep and repair for any mains outside the City. (Ord. 487, 6-10-91; 1995 Code)
