A civil penalty of $250, not to exceed a total of $5,000, may be sought for each violation. Each individual penalty will be multiplied by the number of days the particular violation has been documented by the County Health Department. Penalties for violations documented in two consecutive investigations shall be assessed on the basis that the violation has remained uncorrected over the period of time between the two investigations.
