Any person may visit or telephone the office of the Fiscal Officer during regular business hours to determine the time and place of regular meetings, the purpose, time and place of any special meetings, and whether or not there is available an agenda for any future meeting for any specific type of public business. No charge shall be made for such information furnished by the Fiscal Officer or any other person acting on behalf of or under the authority of the Fiscal Officer.
A reasonable attempt at notification shall be deemed to be at least one telephone call or the placing in the United States mails of an envelope with postage paid containing the notice addressed to the person, media or organization requesting such information.
It shall be the duty of the secretaries of any municipal bodies to timely advise the Fiscal Officer of the time of all regular and special meetings and the subject matter to be discussed at such meetings, of such municipal bodies other than Council.
