941.03 INSTALLATION OF WATER MAINS.
   (a)   For all water mains lying in the streets or alleys extended from an existing line up and including 500 feet from the present existing line, no line shall be installed unless it shall be at least four inches in diameter of the kind of pipe or other such conductive material as may be required by the Village Administrator.
   (b)   For all water mains extending more than 500 feet from existing water mains or where the line to be extended is not to be fed from either end by another line, no line shall be installed unless the same shall be of pipe or other conductive material of less than six inches in diameter.
   (c)   In the event that any property owner desiring water service within the Village or any proposed annexation thereto should desire service and shall not have adjoining his property a water line of at least four inches in diameter then he shall, prior to being connected to the water services of the Village, install at his own expense and under the direction of the Village Administrator, a water line of such materials as will comply with this section.
   (d)   No service connection shall be installed within the Village to any property from the tap to and through the meter unless the same shall be of copper or its equivalent. In no event shall any line be installed from the curb or from the tap to the meter unless the same shall be copper, of not less than 3/4" diameter for one dwelling or less than 1" diameter for two dwellings on one tap.
