(A) All replacement trees shall be selected from the qualified tree list. Additional tree varieties may be approved by either city staff or the City Council as deemed appropriate by the City Manager or his or her designee.
(B) Qualified tree list.
(1) Suitability. An asterisk (*) indicates a tree identified as particularly outstanding for this area by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service.
(2) Water. Italicized print indicates trees that are preferred due to their low water demand as designated in "Landscape Water Conservation...Xeriscape," published by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service as may be amended from time to time.
(3) Large trees (range 50 feet and above at maturity).
