159.33 PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE DEFINED.
   (a)   A part-time employee for the City shall be any employee hired to work seventy (70) hours per pay period, or less, and shall be paid on an hourly basis.

   (b)   A full-time employee for the City shall be any employee hired to perform the duties of a classified or scheduled position which is paid on a salary basis as per the pay ordinance for the City.
   (c)   Only full-time employees as defined herein shall be entitled to fringe benefits as provided by the City, except that part-time employees shall receive sick leave as defined and calculated under Section 159.22(a).
