159.26 PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
   (a)   The individual selected from the applicants for employment, all new volunteer firemen and all new auxiliary police must take and pass a physical examination before being hired, and the City shall pay all costs arising from such examinations.
   (b)   The City recommends that all City employees and all current volunteer firemen and auxiliary police have a medical examination every two years, and the City shall pay the first fifty dollars ($50.00) and fifty percent (50%) of all costs in excess of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the examinations. The total maximum amount the City shall pay once every two years shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per person.
   (c)   The City shall have the right to select the physician for all of the examinations described in subsection (a) hereof.
   (d)   A copy of the examination report shall be included in the personnel file of any individual taking an examination as required or recommended by this section.
