159.20 HOLIDAY PAY.
   (a)   Any employee excluded from a recognized collective bargaining unit, except department heads, required to work on a holiday as designated in Section 103.02 shall be paid two and one-half times the regular hourly rate for up to, but not more than the number of hours of said employee’s regular work shift for that day’s work, except as otherwise provided herein.

   (b)   When any of the designated holidays falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, either that Friday preceding or the Monday following is observed as the holiday by the City, it shall be paid as such holiday. (Ord. 129-94. Passed 10-3-94.)
