The intent of the Overlay district therefore would be to limit future redevelopment, renovations, or additions in that area to maximum allowable heights corresponding to the new Viewshed. The area to the north of The Great Circle is located in the City of Newark and is predominantly housing of varying ages and heights. A corresponding zoning overlay district is anticipated within that municipality.
