(a) The public water supply system is to be protected from contamination and/or pollution by isolating within the customer's water system contaminants or pollutants which could backflow through the service connection into the public water supply system.
(b) Existing cross-connections, actual or potential, between the systems, plumbing fixtures and sources or systems containing substances of unknown or questionable safety shall be eliminated or controlled.
(c) In accordance with the Ordinances of the City of Heath, the following regulations are hereby established to enforce cross-connection control which will prevent the contamination or pollution of the public and consumer's potable water system.
