The Mayor shall be elected from the Municipality at large at the November 1965 municipal election and every fourth year thereafter for a four year term. He shall assume office on January 2nd next following his election and shall hold office until his successor is elected and qualified. The salary of the Mayor for the four year term of office beginning January 2, 1966, shall be that amount as shall have been fixed by Council in accordance with Section 731.13 of the Revised Code of Ohio.
