(a) Upon filing an application, the applicant shall deposit with the Service Director or his authorized representative a bond insuring the satisfactory compliance with all provisions of the Codified Ordinances and other ordinances and specifications. The applicant shall also pay a permit fee of ten dollars ($10.00) to cover the cost of supervision and inspection. The Service Director or his authorized representative shall issue a permit only if such bond is posted and such fee is paid.
(b) Upon completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Street Commissioner, the performance bond shall be returned provided the work has been done in a satisfactory manner.
