Any license issued pursuant to this Chapter shall terminate on December 31 of the year in which it is issued. Such a license may be transferred during the year and issued to another owner upon application to and approval by the Chief of Police or his/her designee upon payment of a fifteen dollar ($15.00) fee for each transfer. A license issued pursuant to this Chapter for an electronic gaming parlor or electronic game of skill may not be transferred during the year or re- issued to another owner without approval of the Chief of Police or his/her designee.
