For the purposes of this chapter, junk shop means all buildings and real estate which shall be kept or maintained for the purpose of dealing in waste materials, the wrecking of motor vehicles or the sale of used parts of motor vehicles, and the purchase and sale of used scrap materials, paper, rubber, rags or other waste materials, except in connection with the operation of an established industrial or manufacturing plant.
