If a planned-development project is proposed, the amendment procedure in § 157.090 may be initiated after conditional approval of the preliminary plat. A zoning map amendment may be made to designate the proposed location as a planned-development district. Thereafter the planned-development project procedure in § 157.051 shall be followed and the zoning map amendment, if approved, shall be valid only for that specific project as approved by the Planning Commission in conformance with § 157.051. If construction is not initiated within one year after the amendment, the planned- development district shall revert to its original zoning classification.
