§ 94.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation and shall be fined not more than $500 for each offense. Each day’s continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   When the violation of this ordinance requires immediate action pursuant to § 94.10, the code enforcement officer may require that the premises be vacated immediately, that the premises be secured so no one can gain admittance and post signage that gives notice to the public that the premises are not to be entered until further notice and if any person enters the premises, they are in violation of the law and will be charged with trespass.
   (C)   Notwithstanding other provisions of this chapter, whenever, in the opinion of the code enforcement officer, there is imminent danger due to an unsafe condition, the code official shall order the necessary work to be done, including the boarding up of openings, to render such structure temporarily safe whether or not the legal procedure herein described has been instituted; and shall cause such other action to be taken as the code enforcement officer deems necessary to meet such emergency. If the premises are deemed to be an imminent danger, the code enforcement officer shall cause to be posted at each entrance to such structure a notice reading as follows: "This Structure Is Unsafe and Its Occupancy Has Been Prohibited by the Code Enforcement Officer." It shall be unlawful for any person to enter such structure except for the purpose of securing the structure, making the required repairs, removing the hazardous condition or of demolishing the same. If any person enters the premises, with exception to the person entering for the purpose of securing the structure, they are in violation of the law and will be charged with trespass.
   (D)   Violation of this chapter shall constitute a civil offense which shall be enforced according to the procedures set forth in the Hazard Code Enforcement Board Ordinance by the Code Enforcement Board, hearing officers, code enforcement officers, citation officers and other persons duly authorized to investigate and enforce the violations through investigation, inspection and issuance of citations.
