It shall be unlawful for any person, after having occupied a parking space for 120 minutes to deposit or cause to be deposited in the parking meter alongside or adjacent to the parking space occupied, an additional coin for the purpose of extending the parking time beyond the period fixed by this chapter for that parking space.
