(A) Violation of this chapter shall constitute a civil offense which shall be enforced according to the procedures set forth in the Hazard Code Enforcement Board Ordinance by the Code Enforcement Board, hearing officers, code enforcement officers, citation officers and other persons duly authorized to investigate and enforce the violations through investigation, inspection and issuance of citations.
(B) Any person receiving a citation for any parking violation in the city shall be deemed to have committed a violation and shall be fined in accordance with the following schedule:
Over Parked in 1 Hour Zone | $20 |
Parked on Yellow Line | $20 |
No Parking Here to Corner | $20 |
Blocking Fire Hydrant | $100 |
No Parking Loading Zone | $20 |
No Parking Any Time | $20 |
Double Parked | $20 |
Parked on Sidewalk or Curb | $20 |
Blocking Driveway or Alley | $20 |
No Parking Fire Lane | $25 |
No Parking Tow Away Zone | $20 |
Handicap Parking Only | $100 |
(C) Additional citations may be given for each additional hour of violation, and each such citation will be considered and dealt with as a separate and individual offense.
(D) Any failure to pay the fine for each violation when due will result in an additional penalty of one dollar ($1.00) per day for each day that the fine remains unpaid.
