(A) Parking meters shall be placed upon the curb alongside or adjacent to individual parking places to be designated as herein provided. Each parking meter shall be so placed on the curb as to show or display a signal that the parking space alongside of same is or is not is use.
(B) Each parking meter shall be so placed as to display a signal showing legal parking within the adjacent parking space upon the deposit of a coin of the United States of America in that meter, for a period of time conforming to the parking limits set out in § 73.05(B).
